Ranch Math team @ Harker Math Invitational 2025
Eleven of Rancho Milpitas Middle School kids (2 teams from 7th grade and one team from Grade 8) participated in the Harker Math Invitational competition held at Harker campus on Mar 15, 2025. This was the first time Rancho has participated at the competition.
Around 500 students from over 30 middle schools in the bay area participated in the competition.
A couple of highlights from the event:
Allen Li (7th grade) finished 9th in the individual contest across all the seventh grade students. Hurray!
Rancho seventh grade team A (consisting of Allen, Roger, Muhammad, Kushagra and Vihaana) finished in the top 5 in team Guts round
Congratulations to all the kids who participated in the event!
Ranch Math team @ MathCounts Chapter Competition 2025
Twelve of Rancho Milpitas Middle School kids across Grade 7 and Grade 8 participated in the Central Santa Clara chapter competition held at Harker Middle school campus on Feb 22, 2025.
Overall, the event was a great learning experience for the kids and gave them an oppurtunity to compete with some of the best schools in Santa Clara.
A couple of highlights from the event:
Ritushree and Roger top-scored for Rancho School
The school team comprised of Allen, Muhammad, Nilan and Roger scored a perfect score in the team round (20/20)
