The National PTA Reflections Arts  Program encourages students of all ages to:

• Unleash creative talents and be inspired

• Express themselves imaginatively in their artwork

• Experience the fun and joy of making art

• Tap into critical thinking skills to create art inspired by the annual theme

• Receive positive recognition for their original works of art.

All students are invited to participate in the PTA Reflection Arts Competition at the school.

This year's theme is I Belong!.

Students can participate in either the Middle School division (Grade 6-8)  or the Accessible Arts division.

For the school competition:

• Each student can participate in more than one category.

• Each student can submit more than one entry in each art category, but only one winning entry will be chosen per category from each participant.

• Top 3 entries from each category will be awarded prizes at the school level. First place winning entry from each category at the school level will be submitted to the Milpitas Council PTA Reflection Arts competition.

• Each participant for Reflection Arts competition at Rancho will receive a certificate.

Note:

• Entries will be disqualified if you add identifying information within the artwork. (e.g names on front of artwork, intro/credits for music/video) 

• Each student needs to fill in the Virtual Student Entry Form for submission of their artwork.

• Please refer the detailed rules for each art category.

• All files attached in Virtual Student Entry Form must be labeled with State, Arts Category, Grade Division, Last Name, First Name (Example: CA.DANCE.MID.SMITH.JOHN). For physical entry submissions for Visual Art and Photography, please label the back of the entry as per this convention.

• The Virtual Student Entry Form will not accept a student's school email address. Please use personal email of student/guardian to fill out this form.

• After you upload your entry and complete the Virtual Student Entry Form, please scroll down and hit Submit button. You will then receive an email from Google Forms to indicate that your submission was received.

• Please save physical artwork. If your entry is selected for the state level contest, the physical artwork will have to be submitted.

Deadline for submission will be announced after school reopens for the 2025-2026 school year.
