The National PTA Reflections Arts Program encourages students of all ages to:
Unleash creative talents and be inspired
Express themselves imaginatively in their artwork
Experience the fun and joy of making art
Tap into critical thinking skills to create art inspired by the annual theme
Receive positive recognition for their original works of art.

This year's Reflections theme is I Belong!
All students are invited to participate in the PTA Reflection Arts Competition at the school in one of the following divisions:
Middle School division (Grade 6-8)
Accessible Arts division (Grade 6-12)
General Guidelines for all participants
Accessible Arts Division Guidelines (en español)
Detailed rules for each art category:
For the school competition:
You can participate in more than one category.
You can submit multiple entries per art category, but only one winning entry will be chosen per category from each participant.
Top 3 entries from each category will be awarded prizes at the school level.
Award of Excellence winner from each category will advance to the Milpitas Council PTA Reflection Arts competition.
Every participant will receive a certificate.
Note:
Entries will be disqualified if you add identifying information within the artwork. (e.g names on front of artwork, intro/credits for music/video)
You need to fill in the Virtual Student Entry Form for submitting your artwork using the personal email of student/guardian. The entry form cannot be submitted using MUSD student account.
All files attached in Virtual Student Entry Form must be labeled with State, Arts Category, Grade Division, Last Name, First Name (e.g. CA.DANCE.MID.SMITH.JOHN).
After you upload your entry and complete the Virtual Student Entry Form, please scroll down and hit Submit button. You will then receive an email from Google Forms to indicate that your submission was received.
Please save your physical artwork. If your entry advances to the state level contest, the physical artwork has to be submitted.

All students are invited to submit themes for the 2027 - 2028 Reflection Arts Theme Search Contest. California State PTA will submit five student-created themes to National PTA.
